Türkiye’s leading integrated healthcare group, Bupa Türkiye, has completed the acquisition of CGM Türkiye, which provides operations and information systems solutions focused on health insurance. Bupa Türkiye and CompuGroup Medical Türkiye announced on October 24, 2023 that they had reached an agreement on the sale of the subsidiary. Following the Competition Board’s permission, the closing procedures were completed.
In the statement made by Bupa Türkiye, which has increased its investments in the sector; It was noted that the strong, independent and impartial structure that CGM Türkiye has established so far will be preserved and the growth strategy in the field of health services in Türkiye will be continued with firm steps with the global approach of the Bupa umbrella. In the statement, it was underlined that the acquisition in question was an indicator of confidence in the Turkish economy and that the services needed by the sector and customers would be developed.
