From brain signals to personalized learning

The brain, consisting of around 100 billion neurons and 100 trillion synaptic connections, remains one of our most complex and mysterious organs. Once thought to be structurally fixed, it is now understood as a flexible system that can reshape itself through experience and learning. Especially with advances in neuroscience, the ability to analyze the brain’s electrical signals has opened the door to personalized learning solutions.

Dr. Günet Eroğlu, CEO of Auto Train Brain summarizes the state of technology by saying: “Understanding signals from the brain means decoding an individual’s personal learning map. This paves the way for next-generation approaches to many learning difficulties, especially dyslexia.”

The brain is no longer fixed — it can change constantly
It has now been scientifically proven that, thanks to the brain’s plasticity, it can restructure itself based on environmental factors and experiences. A study on taxi drivers in London revealed that the hippocampus region of the brain, responsible for navigation, grew over time in those frequently engaged in directional tasks. This shows that the brain can physically change depending on how it’s used.
The same mechanism plays a significant role in addressing learning difficulties. Especially in neurological conditions like dyslexia, it is now possible to reprogram the brain.

Dyslexia is not a disability — it’s a different brain function
Research shows that individuals diagnosed with dyslexia display differences in language-processing areas such as the left temporal lobe. Difficulties in phonological processing (interpreting and understanding sounds) directly impact reading and writing skills.
At this point, Dr. Eroğlu makes an important point:
“Dyslexia is not a learning disability; it is a differently functioning brain structure. We use neurofeedback technology to understand and guide this difference.”

With neurofeedback, the brain can regulate itself
Using an EEG (electroencephalography)-based system developed by Auto Train Brain, signal measurements are taken from 14 different regions of the brain to create personalized training programs. The neurofeedback method applied in cases like attention disorders and dyslexia activates the brain’s capacity to self-regulate.
“With proper guidance, the brain begins to produce more efficient signals, which directly affects the learning process,” says Dr. Eroğlu, emphasizing that early analysis during childhood is critically important in this process.

Not a learning disorder, but a potential difference
With timely assessments, the strengths of children with learning differences can be uncovered. These individuals often possess strong intuition, creative problem-solving abilities, and unconventional ways of thinking.
In line with this approach, Auto Train Brain offers free initial consultations and assessments at the Perla Psychology and Research Center in Istanbul and the Brain Signal Center in Ankara. The goal is to address dyslexia or attention deficit not merely as “problems” but as potential differences.

In summary:

-The brain is not fixed; it is shaped through learning.

-Dyslexia is a differently functioning brain structure.

-The brain can be restructured through neurofeedback technology.

-Personalized learning can overcome learning difficulties.

-Early analysis is the key to success.
